Color correction is much easier than you think. You just need to know what colors are free (at the opposite end of the importance of the color wheel) and can be used too much of a different color aside. This is something that usually only a screening test image, but the proper method is to check the histogram. You can do this through the window in the call menu and select Histogram. The left side represents the shadow, the right side which highlights to leave the center for halftones.
